From the Sedro-Woolley School District's website regarding breakfast and lunch service during the COVID-19 break:

"Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch combo meals will be available to all children, 18 and younger, starting Thursday, March 19. No forms or registration are required. Those 18 and younger can drop by to pick up breakfast and lunch. Per OSPI guidelines, parents must be accompanied by their children in order to pick up meals."

Per OSPI guidelines children can pick up the meals themselves, but adults must be accompanied by their children to pick up meals. THE SCHOOL DISTRICT POSTED ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE THAT THIS IS NO LONGER A REQUIREMENT BUT YOU NEED TO FILL OUT A FORM.

Here's the post:
"UPDATE: Thanks to a new waiver from the federal government, children need not be present starting NEXT week when picking up our grab-and-go meals. However, we are still required to track meals, so if you plan on leaving the kiddos at home please complete this form by 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 5 so we can share the list with our transportation and food service teams! You will need to select a specific location so we can sort the lists accordingly. https://forms.gle/8mxy23iUuNsyc2Uj7"

Pick up locations will not have space available for eating.

As we find ourselves in a Stay Home - Stay Healthy situation in Washington State, I've decided to add virtual events to the events calendar that you may find fun for your family to participate in. Check back often to see what I've found for you!!

Washington is moving into a phased opening of the state as of May 5th. We recognize that this is going to be a confusing period of time with varying opinions on what people should and shouldn’t be doing. For over 7 years, Skagit Kid Insider has been a reliable source of information for our community. We will continue to provide updates on the outdoor spaces and activities that are open under government guidelines. This does not constitute an endorsement or a suggestion that we jump back into a “normal” way of life. Masks are encouraged if you are out in public spaces, click here to buy masks locally. During this time we encourage everyone to be informed and do what they feel is best for their own family.
